Japanito, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, MidiCi and Raw Juice are heading to Midtown Miami.
Magellan Development Group, which completed Midtown Five earlier this year, said the eateries will all be open by the fourth quarter of this year. Lime will be returning to Midtown Miami after Rubio’s Coastal Grill took over its lease last year, as previously reported.
Japanito, a fast-casual Japanese-style sushi bowl and burrito restaurant, will be expanding from its South Beach location in a 897-square-foot space at Midtown Five, at 125 Northeast 32nd Street. Lime is leasing 2,616 square feet, and is slated to open in the summer. Raw Juice will take 1,328 square feet, and MidiCi, a Neopolitan pizza restaurant, will lease nearly 3,500 square feet with an outdoor seating area, open kitchen and wood-fired ovens.
Jon Samuel of Midtown Group represented Midtown Five. The Comras Company’s Michael Silverman and Jeffrey Evans brokered the Lime MidiCi and Raw Juice deals, Silverman said.
Midtown Five, a 24-story, 400-unit apartment tower, opened in January. Residential rents range from $1,544 for a studio to $5,323 for a three-bedroom, two-bath. Originally slated to be a condo tower with a different developer, Midtown Five is the first for Magellan in South Florida, and the Chicago-based developer has more in the pipeline for the neighborhood, which is anchored by the Shops at Midtown. Midtown 6 and Midtown 7 are both in the planning stages.
